Scholarships Helping Kids SOAR

My son, Diego, started doing the slopestyle course at the [Boulder] BMX park for the first time…even though we go to the bike park almost every week, he had never felt confident enough to do a wooden ramp that leads to a drop off on the slopestyle course. This week he talked it over with the instructor, he walked up to it and looked down and said, “No I don’t think I can do that.” The instructor went back to taking photos of the other kids and then saw my son Diego coming down the hill and said, “Wow he’s going to do it!” And he landed the jump and continued to do it many more times. He was so excited for his parents and grandparents to see him in action.
