This fun and safety focused Boy or Girl Scouts of America Bicycling Program offers kids the opportunity to ride varied terrain at Valmont Bike Park with highly qualified instructors. During the scouting program where participants complete the requirements of their Belt Loop while working towards their Sports Pin, participants develop skills through increasingly challenging activities using the multiple terrain and features found at Valmont Bike Park. We strongly encourage participants to use their own bicycles during this program to allow for greatest transfer of skill development, however, we can provide helmets (required), protective pads (required), and mountain bikes if needed for an additional fee. Please make sure your child is comfortable on dirt with two wheels (striders OK) before registering for this program.
