The best way to enjoy the hot summer days is on the water in our Boulder Canoe & Kayak Day Camp!  This fun and safety oriented water and paddle program is loaded with group games and adventure challenges to entertain, educate and develop each participant, while deepening friendships and fostering new ones. Canoeing and kayaking on both flat and potentially moving water (depending on group ability and river conditions) provides the basis for a great week of summer camp.

Times, Meeting Location, & Dates:

Times: Drop-off at 8:45am and pick-up at 2:30pm. Optional Extended Care is available from 8:00am – 5:30pm.

Meeting Location: Meets in Boulder at the Watershed School, 205 Canyon Blvd., 80302.

  • 1-3 days of canoeing skills, team building, and rescue techniques
  • 1-3 days of basic kayak skills and rescue techniques
  • 1 day of advanced kayak skills in whitewater kayaks

Overview for Boulder Canoeing & Kayaking Day Camp:

Five days of Canoeing and Kayaking and being on the water all week long is exactly what summers are for. We designed this program specifically for kids who would like a complete introduction to water skills and safety and those looking to improve and deepen skills acquired from our basic camp program. Each day is filled with learning, activity, games and challenges to provide for the most complete and healthy experience possible. Our instructor team will be led by certified American Red Cross and American Canoe Association certified professionals. All technical equipment is provided by Avid4 Adventure. We welcome parents to come out the final day of camp to witness firsthand these youngster’s joy and the growth they achieved during their week on the water.
