Avid4 Adventure’s Rock Climbing Camp offers participants the opportunity to progressively climb and experience diverse routes and rock types over the course of a week, while focusing on the safety and enjoyment of the sport. Kids will develop skills and experience through increasingly challenging techniques, exercises, and routes, all while learning team-building and individual leadership skills with friends. Those participating should have prior experience with basic rock climbing using ropes and harnesses, either outside or in a gym. All technical climbing equipment, including climbing shoes, are provided.
Times: Drop-off at 8:45am and pick-up at 2:30pm. Optional Extended Care is available from 8:00am – 5:30pm.

The Boulder Climbing Camp provides a special opportunity for your son or daughter to climb some of the renowned formations and routes that have made Boulder famous. Learn the skills of a rock climber, such as proper equipment use and care, basic knots, belaying, rappelling, and basic to advanced climbing movements and techniques. The participants will experience a variety of Front Range locations from the perfect granite walls of Boulder Canyon, to the unique qualities of the Flatirons formation, and the marbled rock and countless routes of Clear Creek Canyon. As with all Avid4 Adventure programs, kids will also enjoy fun games, unique team building and individual challenges within a safety-oriented, supportive and empowering social setting.
This camp is designed with returning Avid4 campers and greater skill development in mind. If you have some experience rock climbing (indoor or outdoor), this camp would be a great fit.
The Multi-sport camps are a great starting point for children to begin a full summer of adventure.
