Family Trip: Arches National Park Family Camp

Based in stunning Arches National Park, come experience the amazing natural wonders Arches has to offer with Avid4 Adventure. Our original, and now classic, family trip destination provides beginner to expert campers with a stunning location and activities for a  memorable experience.

Cost:

$295/person and a 1-time $50 family registration fee; Children under 5 are free if they are not participating in the children’s group activities.

There are no open registration trips for 2012, however we offer private trip for groups of 14 or more.  Please contact Kyle at 720-249-2412 X10 or Kyle@Avid4.com to book a private trip.  Reservations for private trips are first come-first served; 14 people minimum for a private.

Trip Overview

Our most senior staff will facilitate these deluxe camping vacations with full kitchen and meal preparation, family size tents, and all specialized equipment included. As an added treat, Professional Chef Staci Rieder designed all of the meals for our trips. Just pack your bags with the necessary clothes and personal items, pile into the car and we’ll meet you there with hot chocolate and a warm campfire. We can accommodate ages 5-14 for the kid’s specific activities. Older or younger ages are welcome to remain with their parents during our activities.

Join Avid4 Adventure near Moab, Utah, this Spring Break, (trips begin after dinner the first day and end mid-afternoon the last day). We will be camping in the coveted Arches National Park in a group site, well secluded from the bustle of most visitors. Each day, Avid4 Adventure will provide canyoneering, hiking or climbing instruction for kids on the trip for half the day (giving parents a chance to get out for a bit of recreation on their own), and family time for the other half of each day.

Sample Itinerary

• Day 1: arrive after 6pm and settle into camp; please eat dinner before arrival
• Day 2: group meeting and games; family free-time; Arches exploration and ecology hike
• Day 3: morning family time; afternoon climbing at Wall Street; dinner; campfire
• Day 4: Fiery Furnace family canyoneering; end of program
