Often overlooked in our own backyard, Estes Park is an incredibly beautiful area to explore with world-class rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and hiking only hours from Denver.  Each day Avid4 Adventure’s most experienced guides will provide hiking, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and even lead you to the CSU high-ropes adventure challenge course.

Program Overview:

We will be camping in a beautiful National Forest campground outside of Rocky Mountain National Park.  This scenic spot allows us incredible access to the adventures and fun that the next few days will bring.

Our most senior staff will facilitate these deluxe student expeditions with full kitchen and student-led meal preparation, top-quality tents, and all specialized equipment included. All of our healthy and tasty meals were carefully designed with the assistance of Professional Chef Staci Rieder. Having a positive and memorable experience can’t be much easier, just pack your bags with the necessary clothes and personal items and pile into our van.

  • Laughing and Leaping at the CSU High Ropes Adventure Course
  • Sleeping under the stars and creating memories

Sample Itinerary for School Expedition:

  • Day 1: Arrive in afternoon and settle into camp; bouldering
  • Day 2: Group meeting and games, rock climbing
  • Day 3: Rafting the Poudre & seeking adventure at the High Ropes Course
  • Day 4: Sunrise hike and return to Denver

Land Use:

This institution is operated under special use permit with the Medicine Bow, Arapahoe and Roosevelt National Forests. Trip itineraries may change as a result of logistics, land use restrictions, or group dynamics.
