This fun and safety focused mountain biking birthday offers kids the opportunity to ride varied terrain at Valmont Bike Park with a highly qualified instructor. During the birthday park mountain bike riding session, participants develop skills through increasingly challenging activities using the multiple terrain and features found at Valmont Bike Park. We strongly encourage participants to use their own bicycles during this program to allow for greatest transfer of skill development, however, we can provide helmets (required), protective pads (required), and mountain bikes if needed for an additional fee. Please make sure your child is comfortable on dirt with two wheels (striders OK) before registering for this program.
Avid4 Adventure, founded in 2004, currently provides mountain bike instruction to over 8,000 participants a year in Colorado, making it the largest provider of mountain bike programs in the state. Our staff is the most highly certified, experienced and trained group of professional outdoor educators providing biking programming in Colorado. Additionally, Avid4 Adventure carries the distinction of being Accredited by the American Camp Association, Licensed by the State of Colorado (as a day camp, resident camp, travel camp and school age child care program), as well as being PACE Certified by the City of Boulder.

1. Mail a non-refundable check for $300 to Avid4 Adventure at PO Box 287 Boulder, CO 80306.
2. All parents of participants must download this form, completely fill it out, and bring it with their child the day of the party. Unfortunately, children without signed forms will be unable to participate.
3. Avid4 Adventure must know by 72 hours before the party if any of the children will need to rent bikes and helmets and/or knee/elbow pads
1. Avid4 Adventure guides will arrive 15 minutes before the start time and meet all of the kids in the large, dirt lot off of Valmont Road. The road is just East of the traffic light at Valmont Rd. and Airport Rd.
2. Avid4 Adventure guides will ensure that all children have completed the Avid4 Release of Liability Form before they are permitted to ride.
3. Avid4 Adventure guides will direct the parents to the reserved picnic tables where the party organizer can set up whatever (s)he has planned for after the riding. The picnic tables will be closer to the main entrance to VBP on Airport Road, therefore the easiest thing for parents is to drop off at the dirt Valmont Road lot and pick-up at the Airport Road entrance.
4. Avid4 Adventure guides will teach, ride, and have a blast with the kids for 2 hours and 15 minutes. Once the riding is over, Avid4 guides will bring the kids over to the designated picnic table and bid farewell.
5. The remainder of the balance ($20 per rider over 10 kids and $20/$10 per bike/pads rental) should be paid the day of the party with a check made out to Avid4 Adventure.
