California Day Camp

  • CALIFORNIA DAY CAMP COMPENSATION RATE

    Please note that day camp staff and event staff are paid an hourly rate.  Camp Directors are paid a weekly rate.  The following scale is used as a guide; however rates are at the full discretion of the Staffing Managers.

    *Important:  All relevant certifications must be from nationally recognized organizations, approved by Avid4 Adventure, and remain current through the end of the work season.  Hourly base pay is capped at $21.50/hour in CA.  In addition, some pay increases are mutually exclusive.  For example, an AMGA rock climbing certification could not be added to an Avid4 climbing instructor recommendation.

Colorado Mountain Camp

  • COLORADO MOUNTAIN CAMP COMPENSATION RATE

    The following scale is used as a guide; however rates are at the full discretion of the Staffing Managers.

    We have two CMC locations – our Windy Peak camp runs for 6 weeks and our Mount Evans camp runs for 8 weeks. When applicable, you will see contract amounts for either Windy Peak (WP) or Mount Evans (ME).

    Please note that the travel bonus is paid at the end of the season upon successful completion of the contract. Successful completion is defined as working >90% of the aforementioned contract period. Employees that quit or are terminated will not be awarded a travel bonus.
