Avid4 Adventure doesn’t run your typical sleep-away camp. Alongside the skit nights, campfires, and crafts, our campers are experiencing something much more profound. Kids and teens are gaining independence and self-assuredness, learning to thrive in the natural world and discovering the habit-forming power of outdoor adventure. From their home base at our breathtaking campsite near Bailey, Colorado, 1st – 12th graders take on a range of adventure sports—rock climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding—and strike out on eye-opening, character-building overnight expeditions. It’s an immersive experience that makes a deep imprint on kids and teens, leaving them with lasting skills and new reserves of confidence they can use in all aspects of their lives.

Camp has been the focus of my life ever since my first overnight camp experience at age six. Since that summer, I’ve spent every school year counting down the days until it’s time to go back to camp. I believe that camp gives kids opportunities to become more independent, learn new skills, make friends, build self-esteem, gain confidence in the outdoors and develop an appreciation for the natural world. I’m so excited to be part of your kids’ experience this summer. Colorado Mountain Camp lets kids take on remarkable adventures in a place that truly feels like home. Our qualified, dynamic staff works tirelessly every year to provide a fun, safe environment that gives parents peace of mind and while their kids have the time of their lives. I can’t wait to welcome you and your camper to the Colorado Mountain Camp family!
